Senior Training

We offer a range of sessions for members:

Details Coached track session including the following disciplines and are suitable for athletes of all abilities and levels of experience:

·       Distance running.

·       Sprinting.

·       Jumps.

·       Throws.

This list will grow as the facilities at Southwark Athletics Centre become more available.

 

Hill repeats and interval training in Greenwich Park, led by a Leadership in Running Fitness instructor. Please check with us before attending.

Informal group run of around 10 miles  in a range of pacing groups. The route is on Strava. The start time and route can change depending on training needs of those attending. Please check with us before attending.

 

Sessions are free for members, apart from track sessions where we make a small charge to cover track hire and coaching costs. All members are also entitled to free use of the athletics track on Saturday mornings 10:00–11:00am for their own training.

Track fees

There are two payment options:

  • £4 per session pay-as-you go – payment by card at the track.
  • £15 per month for all sessions – payment by bank transfer at the beginning of each calendar month.

Payment details will be emailed to you when you join London City AC. Unfortunately we cannot accept cash payments. You are welcome to join us for a free ‘taster’ session on the track before joining the club. Please email [email protected] for more information.
